Job Description

Job requirements:

MUST HAVE 6 MONTHS OR MORE UNDERGROUND COAL MINING EXPERIENCE!!!!

• Underground time of 6 months or more must be documented to be considered
• Must have HS Diploma or GED
• Must have Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Able to work weekly rotating shifts (MAD)
• Able to work overtime as necessary
• Regular and punctual attendance
• Ability to communicate with management and co-workers and work as a team
• Ability to work in an underground mining environment
• Must be able to pass a background check, physical, drug screen, and functional work screening

Qualifications

Essential Functions:

• Ability to lift to 100 pounds
• Build cribs
• Set posts
• Build bridges
• Supply miner and bolter
• Assist with belt moves
• Assist with load center moves
• Extend waterlines
• Unload supplies
• Clean spillage of coal
• Other general laborer duties as necessary
