  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    • Manage the daily operations of the practice including patient scheduling/registration, medical records, data entry, cash posting, daily bank deposit activity, office maintenance and computer systems to include practice management/billing systems and electronic health records systems.
    • Supervise and develop medical office personnel to ensure maximum efficiency in practice operations including staff selection, onboarding/training, scheduling, and other personnel related activity.
    • Ensure practice is providing the appropriate level of patient service including the resolution of patient concerns/issues.
    • Manage, implement and maintain office policies and procedures.
    • Oversee compliance related activity.
    • Provide additional administrative support to the physicians through the completion of assigned tasks.
    • Serve as practice liaison to Integrated Dermatology corporate team
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Very strong billing and financial experience is required.

    • Exceptional communication skills.

    • Thorough knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, and other relevant medical practice regulations.

    • Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Word and Excel.

    • Ability to multi-task.

    • Hands on approach to team building and willingness to work hard.

    Job Type:

    • Full-time: Monday-Friday, 8am-6pm

    Experience:

    • 3-5 years of experience as an Office Manager in a medical office setting.
    • 1-2 years’ experience in Dermatology, preferred but not required.
    • Experience with medical software and demonstrated knowledge of proper coding (ICD-10) and medical billing process.
    • Proven experience building office culture and cross functional teams to enhance patient experience and practice growth.

    Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree is required, or 7+ yrs. medical office management experience in lieu of.
