POSITION DESCRIPTION:
As an AUTOMATION DEVELOPER, you will be responsible for helping Redwood automate and streamline critical business functions that cannot be easily handled with an existing solution. This role will be key to driving the framework, solution design, and implementation for transforming the business with RPA (bot) processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Quickly understand business and data process flows within different business groups of the logistics industry
- Prioritize requests by working with the business owners to determine efficiency gains with automation
- Document, design, build and support applications designed to automate internal and external processes
- Turn business requirements into functional technical processes
- Review, test and deploy new software following a Scrum framework
- Ensure coding standards and corporate policies & procedures are adhered to
- See projects through from inception to post-production support
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 years of experience in designing and developing automation processes
- Experience with Object Oriented Programming Languages and frameworks (Python, Java, C#, .NET)
- Strong SQL skills, with an ability to write well-tuned SQL queries
- Experience analyzing web source code like JavaScript, HTML
- Experience interacting with API functionality, IE REST and SOAP webservices
- Experience with UiPath a plus
- Knowledge of common approaches to scheduling tasks and monitoring task failures
- The ideal candidate should have a thorough awareness of technical trends and should have a broad set of technical skills enabling them to excel using various sources of technology
