    We're growing and looking for a Refractory Sales Representative who is passionate about building relationships, solving problems, and delivering technical value to our customers.

    Position Overview

    As a Sales Representative at Carolina Refractories, you’ll serve as a key point of contact for customers—both existing and new. Your role will be a mix of technical sales, relationship management, and field support.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve territory revenue goals

    Develop and manage sales within an assigned territory or industry sector

    Identify and grow new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and lead generation

    Maintain and strengthen long-term customer relationships through consistent service and support

    Partner with our engineering and production teams to deliver customized refractory solutions

    Monitor industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activity

    Provide market feedback on product performance, customer requirements, and competitor activity

    Attend industry events, site visits, and trade shows as a brand ambassador

    Prepare technical proposals, quotes, and reports using CRM and other tools

    What We’re Looking For

    3+ years of sales experience in the refractory, industrial, or manufacturing sector

    Technical knowledge of refractory materials and applications is highly preferred

    Strong communication and negotiation skills

    Self-motivated with a hands-on, customer-first approach

    Willingness to travel within assigned territory (up to 50–70%)

    Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Materials Science, or Business is a plus
