Key Responsibilities:

- Market Insights: Utilize your expertise and extensive network to propose innovative routes to market, pinpointing emerging market segments and calculating real cash flow projections, including returns and investment requirements.
- Channel Strategy: Develop critical, strategic insights based on shopper behavior to define key points for channel development and customer engagement.
- Business Development: Explore and grow new business opportunities, including our brands and private labels, while collaborating with specialized teams focused on these areas.
- Distributor Network Enhancement: Strengthen and expand our distributor network, ensuring effective coverage and performance.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to convert opportunities into tangible business results, including assessing economic and operational feasibility, and crafting and executing market strategies.
**Desired Experience and Skills:**
- Proven Expertise: At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within the FMCG sector, with a background in B2B sales, key account management, trade marketing, or business development.
- Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of distribution channels and market dynamics, with the ability to propose and implement effective route-to-market strategies.
- Distributor Experience: Demonstrated success working with distributors, particularly in regions such as Atlanta, Virginia, and North Carolina.
- Executive Engagement: Experience in selling to and influencing senior executives, with a track record of managing complex sales processes and utilizing data for strategic decision-making.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing sales data, financial metrics, and volume/mix analysis to drive informed business decisions.
- Communication and Negotiation: Exceptional ability to communicate and connect with diverse personalities, combined with strong negotiation and numeracy skills.
- Adaptability and Initiative: Self-motivated and accountable, with the ability to adapt to changing environments, handle ambiguity, and deliver exceptional results.
- Planning and Organization: Excellent planning skills, with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.
