Regional Agribusiness Underwriting Manager - Regional Carrier - Base Salary to 150k/year - Spokane, WA

• Our client, a respected and established 100+ year P&C Insurer that operates in CA, AZ, NV, OR and WA has an immediate need for a Regional Underwriting Manager of Agribusiness to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• In this role, the Regional Agribusiness Underwriting Manager will be responsible for audits, analysis, compliance, underwriting integrity, service standards, and production. The Regional Agribusiness Underwriting Manager provides review, mentoring and technical assistance and training to regional Agribusiness Underwriters Team Leaders and their underwriters in the interpretation of underwriting policies and procedures. The Regional Agribusiness Underwriting Manager may review and underwrite complex farm and agribusiness lines and grants underwriting authority to all underwriters in the region. The Regional Agribusiness Underwriting Manager will assist in the development of the regional business strategy, develops metrics, and determines what products and services best support the regional territory both internally and in the field. You will have 2 direct reports.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years experience in commercial/agriculture lines underwriting property, general liability, and auto products.
• 3+ years in a managerial/supervision role preferred.

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 95k - 150k/year range depending on experience plus a profit sharing bonus, salary increases, & a full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, Volunteer Time Off, 401k plus match, PTO, Paid Holidays, Insurance Education Reimbursement, recognition programs & awards, etc. This role is hybrid out of their Spokane office. M-W in office, Thursday & Friday from home.
