Position
As the Regional Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth across the Austin regional area. This position is responsible for building relationships, supporting team members, and expanding the company’s footprint within target markets, which include retail, commercial real estate, education, government, insurance, hospitality, and healthcare sectors. Key responsibilities include:
Essential Functions
Plan and complete field sales & marketing campaigns after conducting preliminary market research.
Promote business expansion opportunities to key identified account sectors.
Cultivate relationships to convert marketing connections into business opportunities.
Manage a team of Business Development Managers (BDMs), providing coaching, training, and developmental feedback.
Promote the company’s products and services at trade shows and events.
Track activities and reporting using CRM software to ensure accurate record-keeping.
Ensure team alignment with company goals, values, and performance metrics.
Conduct regular assessments and development conversations with team members.
Readily assist BDM’s and FMR’s in relevant scenarios to further relationships and close business.
Document and share market intelligence with sales and marketing team.
Overseeing day-to-day sales operations, including estimating, project setup, and adjuster negotiations.
Support the national catastrophe response efforts as needed.
Monitor industry trends and competitor activities.
Track approved expenses in an organized fashion.
Convey Expectations, Resources, Communication protocols, and Definition of Success to BDM’s.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent 3+ years of successful external field sales experience
5 years of experience in the emergency mitigation and restoration industry
Executive presence

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently
Responsible and task-driven
Adaptable to change, multi-dimensional
Ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimum direction
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
