Sixt is seeking a Regional Fleet Analyst to take charge of analyzing, monitoring, and managing fleet operations across multiple regions. In this role, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven strategies, ensure optimal vehicle utilization, and streamline processes throughout the fleet lifecycle. YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

• Fleet Model Management: Maintain and optimize the 78-week fleet model to ensure comprehensive lifecycle planning for all vehicles, from infleet to defleet. Provide Purchasing teams with vehicle model/region targets to guide procurement strategies.
• Fleet Allocations and Placements: Evaluate purchase proposals to ensure alignment with contribution margins. Approve fleet placements in collaboration with Revenue Management, optimizing regional distribution and factoring in lifecycle needs such as one-way rentals and transport to sale locations.
• Performance Monitoring and Analysis: Track fleet utilization, Revenue per Day (RPD), residual value trends, and other fleet costs to refine strategies. Leverage sales performance metrics to guide inventory adjustments and strategic placements.
• Buyback Management: Oversee the buyback process, ensuring seamless coordination and accurate execution of vehicle returns.
• Defleet and Sale Optimization: Develop and manage defleeting strategies, tracking vehicles through all stages of the sale process. Adjust plans based on sales outcomes to maximize realized values and profitability.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Revenue Management and other departments to align fleet strategies with business objectives, ensuring data-driven solutions for optimization.

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.

• Industry Experience: Demonstrated expertise in fleet management, inventory control, or sales strategy, ideally within the car rental or travel industry.

• Analytical Skills: Proven ability to analyze complex data, draw insights, and make strategic, data-driven decisions.

• Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Excel and SQL ; familiarity with Python or other programming languages.

• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate across cross-functional teams.

• Strategic Thinking: Capacity to manage multiple priorities while aligning objectives with organizational goals.

Pricing focuses on market-oriented and margins-optimising product and price management for all business sectors and customer groups in order to create long-term value for the company. The yield management is primarily concerned with maximising revenue through utility and price-oriented management of the fleet and demand. Issues such as planning and composition of the fleet size, predicting the fleet and demand and regulating imports and modulation of vehicles are addressed here. Furthermire, demand adjustments are carried out if necessary through price and availability controls.
