    About Us:

    ZMC Hotels is a hotel management company looking for a Regional Human Resources Manager to offer Human Resources support to a portfolio of hotels in a specific region.

    About this Role:

    The Lakes Region Regional Human Resources Manager will work closely with the General Managers at each of the hotels in the Lakes Region to help source talent, screen applications, conduct phone screenings and interviews, and onboard and train new hires. This individual will also work with our management teams on all areas of Human Resources, including employee relation matters, assistance with benefit enrollments, and compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws. The Regional Human Resources Manager partners with the Vice President, Human Resources to provide guidance and support to all employees at ZMC Hotels.

    This position is an onsite position located at the Duluth, Minnesota office and local properties in the Duluth Area.

    This job may require occasional travel to our hotels in the Lakes Region. At this time, we have hotels in Florida, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.

    About You:

    We are looking for someone who can

    Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes for approximately 14 hotels in the Lakes Region

    Develop and maintain relationships with the leadership teams at our hotels to gain an understanding of the staffing needs at each property.

    Offer support in employee relations matters.

    Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives

    Ensure compliance with labor regulations

    Provide guidance to hotel leadership on interviewing best practices

    Provide support to employees and management in various HR-related topics such as leaves of absence, compensation, and benefit enrollment

    Have 1-3 years of experience in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring of new employees

    Know how to source and connect with quality candidates

    Have excellent communication and people skills

    Have a good understanding of general human resources policies and procedures

    Are able to help employees complete I-9s and other onboarding documents

    Want to work as a part of a welcoming, positive, results-driven team

    Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus but not required. Some experience in recruiting and human resources is a must.
