    The Position - Night Time Supervisor

    Expectations

    The Night Time Supervisor (NTS) is expected to be reliable, follow all company policies and show consistency in their work. As the face of the company, it is imperative that the NTS show-up ready to work and always act with a professional manner while on duty.

    The NTS will be a self-starter that takes initiative and needs little supervision.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    The NTS position reports to the District Manager (DM) or the Regional Manager (RM). The NTS is responsible for nightly door-to-door collection of trash and recycling items within assigned apartment communities as well as reporting operations to the property manager.

    Perform onsite doorstep trash service

    Oversee customer support for assigned communities

    Promote and enforce safety

    Complete administrative work associated with the position

    Submit daily reports as directed by manager

    Inspect and maintain trash compactors, breezeways, stairs and floors according to WeDoTrash standards.

    Cleaning around all dumpsters and ensuring operation of compactor/compactors, picking up loose and bagged trash from around the compactor area.

    Cleaning and clearing trash and debris from chute rooms, trash rooms and dumpster areas.

    Document and report all property hazards and resident non-compliances through mobile app

    Assist in hiring of STMs as requested by manager

    Supervise the work of STMs as requested by manager

    Perform site visits as requested by the manager to ensure that the STM is performing his/hers duties as expected.

    Service new construction communities while low occupancy or until the Regional Manager considers necessary.

    Clean sweep communities when requested by the District Manager.

    Other duties and activities as specified by the manager.

    The NTS should be available to work a minimum of 16 hrs per week.

    Qualifications and Special Conditions of Employment

    Must be at least 18 years of age.

    Must have open bed truck with valid insurance

    Must be authorized to work in the United States.

    Must be able to speak and write in English

    Must pass a background check

    Must have a Smart Phone with a data plan and ability to download apps.

    Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle.

    Ability to drive locally and possibly to other properties as needed.

    Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.

    Flexibility to work during collection hours. Must be available to start at 8 PM

    Ability to work outdoors and work/drive in changing weather conditions.

    Ability to climb stairs, walk distances, and be exposed to trash odors.
