    Job Description

    At TOMRA Food, we are seeking a dynamic Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to drive the sales and promotion of our innovative solutions in the East Coast market. Leading a team of Area Sales Managers, you will play a critical role in growing our customer base, fostering strong client relationships, and achieving ambitious revenue targets. This role requires a strategic mindset, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering excellence in the food processing industry.

    As an RSM, you’ll be fully responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, overseeing team performance, and collaborating across departments to ensure outstanding customer satisfaction and profitability in the region.

    • Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy to maximize business growth and ensure regional profitability.
    • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Area Sales Managers to meet individual, team, and organizational sales quotas.
    • Build and strengthen relationships with current customers while identifying and securing new business opportunities.
    • Track and report key sales activities, metrics, and forecasts, conducting regular updates with senior sales management.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address escalations, performance issues, and critical customer requirements.
    • Drive demand generation activities and lead customer engagement initiatives, including tradeshow participation and site visits.
    • Foster cross-functional collaboration to deliver an exceptional customer experience across all touchpoints.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    About you:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering; alternatively, a degree in Business, Economics, Agriculture, or equivalent experience.
    • 10+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in industrial, automation, machinery, or engineering sectors.
    • Proven leadership and team management experience, with a track record of success in sales within the food industry.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (written and verbal).
    • Proficiency in CRM systems, sales software, and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).
    • In-depth understanding of the food processing industry, with a strong regional network preferred.
    • Analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

    Pay Band

    For U.S. applicants, in accordance with applicable disclosure requirements, the anticipated annual base pay range for Regional Sales Manager position is $110,000 — $150,000. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses.
