The Regional Sales Manager ensures achievement of regional sales goals and profit objectives through effective management of customers, brokers and distributors
Position: Regional Sales Manager
· Partner with brokers to identify and implement ways to maintain and grow our business · Grow sales substantially by seeking new business opportunities, using industry knowledge and network of contacts • Identifies and approaches key or strategic retail prospects and sets short- and long-term sales strategies • Develop focused, strategic sales plans and targets in partnership with broker leadership · Maintain and develop relationships with end-users, brokers and distributors · Manage a geographic region and a network of food-service brokers and call on key operators including regional chains and LLO’s
· Work cross-functionally to gain support for programs and promotional activity in your region
· Develop a detailed understanding of our products and business, represent Impossible Foods to customers and train distributors’ sales teams and brokers
· Create customer pipeline and develop targets through research and relationship development and motivate brokers and distributors to achieve sales targets
· Represent Future Foods at food shows, distributor events, and at other industry events
· Experience working with commercial and non-commercial operators and negotiating distributor agreements
· Knowledge working with key food service distributors and effectively managing trade dollars
· Ability and understanding how to demonstrate products to potential clients
· A passion for the food-service industry and Future Foods’ mission
Requirements: · Full cycle sales experience – you must be both a "hunter" and a "closer"
· Experience managing brokers and building strategic market sales plans
· Strong leadership skills
· Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work cross-functionally and remotely and drive projects to completion with minimal direction
· Ability to demonstrate PAOW! product and its different applications
· Experience with CRM tools, NetSuite preferred
Education/Certifications Required:
· BA/BS degree in a related field
· 5 years of experience in food-service sales, plant-based required
· 2 years of supervisory experience
