Responsibilities: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Leader to join our growing team in the roofing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the performance of the sales division, ensuring daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets are met, and leading a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and collective goals. This position requires strong leadership skills, a focus on team success, and a deep understanding of the roofing industry and sales best practices. Key Responsibilities: 1. Sales Performance & Goal Achievement: • Lead and manage the sales team to achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. • Ensure the team meets daily sales budgets and objectives, driving high levels of performance across all sales activities. • Track team progress, forecast sales, and provide regular updates to senior management. • Identify and implement strategies to improve sales processes, close rates, and conversion metrics. 2. Team Leadership & Development: • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with each sales team member to review performance, provide coaching, and offer feedback. • Develop team members’ skills through ongoing training and mentorship. • Motivate the team to foster a positive, high-energy, and results-oriented work environment. • Recognize and reward top performers, while also addressing performance issues promptly and constructively. 3. Recruitment & Hiring: • Oversee the recruitment and hiring process for new sales team members. • Partner with HR to create job postings, conduct interviews, and evaluate candidates. • Ensure new hires receive proper training and onboarding to set them up for success. 4. Sales Strategy & Operations: • Collaborate with senior management to develop sales strategies and campaigns tailored to market trends and customer needs. • Manage the day-to-day operations of the sales division, ensuring smooth processes and proper resource allocation. • Monitor customer feedback and industry trends to identify opportunities for new business and areas for improvement. • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and legal requirements in all sales practices. 5. Customer Relationship Management: • Foster strong relationships with key clients and prospects, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention. • Oversee the resolution of any customer complaints or issues related to sales or roofing services. 6. Reporting & Metrics: • Analyze sales data and performance metrics to make informed decisions and adjustments to the team’s approach. • Provide detailed reports on team performance, sales forecasts, and other key business metrics to senior management. • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, leads, sales activities, and pipeline. Qualifications:Experience: • Proven experience as a Sales Leader or in a similar sales leadership role, preferably in the roofing or construction industry. • Strong understanding of sales strategies, budgeting, and goal-setting. • Experience in team management and coaching with a focus on achieving sales targets. • Demonstrated ability to recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales team. • Skills & Competencies: • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. • Strong analytical skills and the ability to track, assess, and report on sales performance. • Results-oriented with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals. • Knowledge of CRM systems, sales tools, and roofing industry trends. • Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. • Education: • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field preferred. Working Conditions: • Full-time position, typically Monday through Saturday, with occasional evening or weekend work as needed. • Travel within the designated sales territory may be required. • Occasional site visits to customer locations, roofing job sites, and construction areas.
