    General Purpose of The Job

    The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for managing all sales activity for Omega TMM that occurs within the selling territory, and for developing and sustaining relationships with customers and OEMs. The Regional Sales Manager shall provide leadership in the development, growth, and change required for a selected regional territory. Reporting to this position will be distributors and Manufacturing Reps. and the Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for meeting the training objectives for those entities.


    Primary duties and Responsibilities

    • Prospect, quote, follow-up, and close new business across all product lines to new and existing customers within the territory.
    • Develop, maintain, and manage sales funnel within the CRM software (Salesforce).
    • Support key marketing events including tradeshows, customer/partner events and drive virtual/in-person customer demos in the John F. Nuccitelli Center for Customer Excellence facility.
      • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by interacting with customers, clients, co-workers, supervisors, managers, and all other employees with clear and courteous communications.
        • Adhere to and maintain all ISO 9001 procedures and requirements of the sales support function. This includes active participation in the internal and external audits when necessary.
        • Achieve annual sales plan through effective sales and regional management.
        • Report current status of open opportunities/quotes in their territory as required by Director of Sales.
        • Provide formal notification to appropriate company personnel of any customer dissatisfaction or of any instances of poor product quality.
          • Grow and develop the distribution network.
          • Support OEM/Direct relationships in their territories.
          • Actively participate in strategic planning, forecasting, and annual operating planning.
          • Provide expert technical assistance on all Omega TMM products and Omega TMM sales policy as required.
          • Manage expenses within budget.
          • Communicate market activity on an ongoing basis.
          • Travel as required to fulfill territory objectives, company requirements and customer needs.
          • This position requires travel to Canada so you must be eligible to cross the Canadian border

              Qualifications and Skills

              • A minimum of an Associate's degree in a sales or manufacturing related field; and/or three to five years related experience and/or training in sales through industrial distribution; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
              • Experience with CRM software such as Salesforce is preferred.
              • Must demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively, to read and interpret documents and business correspondence, to write routine reports and correspondence and to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
              • Addition, Subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages, and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
              • Common sense understanding of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form require to carry out company directives. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
                • Must supply and maintain a valid driver’s license, proof of ownership of the vehicle and a certificate of insurance for the vehicle being used for business. The minimum liability requirements are $100,000 per occurrence/$300,00 aggregate. The above will be required upon hire and will be requested annually.

              $150,000-$225,000 per year
