    Title: Regional Sales Manager (Team Leadership) - Hospital Environmental Services

     

    Territory: Managing a team of 5 field sales representatives in the Western half of the US. This is an expansion role to add bandwidth to a high-functioning and stable team.

    Description:

    • Ability to be a player/coach leveraging experience and field sales knowledge
    • Recruit, train, manage field sales team, driving sales of existing, new and emerging products into hospitals & with distribution partners in assigned territory
    • Develop and execute annual business plans
    • Defines optimal performance measurements and management programs to ensure sales success
    • Foster a culture of accountability, professional development, high performance, and ethical standards
    • Partners with the Strategic Business Manager and National Sales Manager in implementing sales objectives and business goals
    • Create demand to products through a variety of marketing and selling techniques
    • Develop strong relationships with existing accounts and internal parnters
    • Work closely with cross-functional partners in the field as well as internal leadership
    • Thoroughly understand product lines, services and provided support materials to generate new business while servicing existing relationships
    • Provide customer feedback and market insight back to internal teams
    • Submit timely and accurate reports
    • Travel with field team every week, attend conferences, trade shows, and other professional meetings as needed
    • Engages customers at all levels across multiple buying influences regarding regulations and best practices for cleaning and disinfection of various environments
    • Fully participate and work within company and government quality standard guidelines
    • Represent and demonstrate company core values
    • Leverages sales analytics and reporting to monitor and improve sales performance
    • Develops and implements Manufacturer Representative Groups and distributor programs to promote the sales and identify mutual sales growth

     

    Requirements:

    • Completed Bachelor's degree.
    • 7+ yrs Sales Leadership experience in the Hospital selling disposables/consumables into Acute Care, Janitorial, Sanitation, or Environmental Services departments
    • Understanding of advanced sales techniques, business development processes, and a strong understanding of the acute care market is required
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
    • Ability to work independently, while also partnering with team members remotely
    • Must be able to travel overnights weekly throughout territory with about 75% travel demands annually, mostly weekday travel.

     

    Compensation: $180k base salary depending on experience, + $45-54k annual bonus based performance to reach $225-234k total income annually.

    Company Car, full benefits, expenses, 401k + matching, 4 weeks PTO first year, annual salary increases.
