    Regional Sales Representative - Lumberyards + Dealers
    Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Western Massachusetts,
    Remote, BUT Must Live in + be willing to travel the territory

    Our client is a growth focused distribution company that sells building products to lumberyards. They are looking for an experienced sales representative to take over their existing customers in the Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Western Massachusetts territory.

    We’re looking for someone with experience selling to lumberyards. This is an amazing opportunity to get in and take over an existing book of business, but also get in at the early stages of a significant growth period and have the chance to watch your income grow as the company adds more products and customers.

    The ideal candidate is:

    • Driven. You’re confident in your ability to develop and expand customer relationships and you want your income to reflect that ability.

    • A curious and proactive person who truly enjoys turning selling dealers into stocking dealers and fostering long-term client relationships

    • A strong communicator that enjoys the process of maintaining and growing customer relationships

    • Someone who is interested in forest products, lumberyards, and sustainable products

    • Organized, structured, and able to function autonomously at a high level. This allows you to serve your prospects and customers well across a large territory

    The ideal candidate will have:

    • Experience selling to lumberyards in the territory

    • Knowledge of or experience selling forest products, lumber, pine, cedar, is preferred, but not required

    • A Driver's License and a passport or the ability to get one. Travel to Canada may be required occasionally
