    Position Summary:

    The Regional Sales Specialist is responsible for driving sales growth, profitability, and market share within a defined geographic region. This role involves managing multiple sales territories, optimizing distribution channels, and providing the necessary support to maximize performance.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Sales & Business Development:
    • Travel frequently (including overnight stays) by air or vehicle to engage with customers and partners.
    • Build strong relationships through phone, written, and in-person communication with distributors, national accounts, and end-user customers.
    • Conduct end-user visits to support sales efforts and gather insights on product performance and market needs.
    • Set and track regional and territory sales goals, taking necessary actions to ensure achievement.
    • Stay informed about regional business trends and competitive landscapes to develop effective sales strategies.
    • Identify opportunities to expand the customer base by developing new distributors, installers, and accounts.
    Account & Territory Management:
    • Work with distributors and accounts to create and execute business plans tailored to their market.
    • Utilize sales automation tools, CRM software, and reporting systems to track performance and provide insights.
    • Monitor and manage pricing structures, discount programs, and profitability metrics.
    • Provide timely updates and reports on regional sales performance and market developments.
    • Support national accounts within the region, maintaining regular communication and reporting on progress.
    Training & Marketing Support:
    • Deliver product training and technical knowledge to distributors, national accounts, and end-users.
    • Assist in the promotion and execution of marketing programs, leasing options, and new product launches.
    • Organize and oversee trade show participation, including equipment setup and teardown.
    • Conduct sales training sessions at regional, national, and corporate events.
    Operational & Administrative Duties:
    • Maintain and manage budgets effectively, making necessary adjustments as required.
    • Use corporate tools and software for sales forecasting, budgeting, and business planning.
    • Leverage the internet and digital tools for competitive research, business communication, and travel arrangements.
    • Address product quality and service concerns, ensuring timely resolution.

    Qualifications & Skills:

    • Education: Bachelor's degree required.
    • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in sales, sales management, or distributor channel management. Strongly prefer prior experience working with wheel equipment (Alignment, Balancers, Changers) along with tire/wheel industry expertise.
    • Skills:
      • Strong communication (written and verbal) and leadership abilities.
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook).
      • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
      • Strong analytical skills and a strategic mindset.

    Work Environment & Expectations:

    • This role requires frequent travel and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
