    Summary

    We are seeking a qualified and talented Registered Dental Assistant to join our team in our brand new state-of-the art facility ~ The Smile Institute! As an RDA, you will provide top-notch care that makes our patients feel like family. You will provide assistance to the orthodontist during bonding procedures and work independently getting patients ready for bonding procedures and inserting and removing arch wires. Experience with intra oral scanning is greatly valued as we treat many of our patients with clear aligners. The ideal candidate is energetic and great with children. We are happy to provide on the job training to assistants that are new to orthodontics.     X-Ray Certification is required.

    Responsibilities:

    Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable

    Discuss the daily visit and be able to answer questions that the patient has

    Prep sterilized equipment and make it available to the orthodontist for exams and procedures

    Assist orthodontist during procedures and exams

    Be able to provide instructions to patients that have braces, aligners and retainers.

    Insert and remove archwires

    Qualifications

    Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) state licensure

    Current Basic Life Support/CPR certification is required

    Strong computer and data entry skills

    Excellent communication and customer service skills

    Ability to provide high-quality patient care
