We change people's lives by transforming their smiles. The majority of what we do is cosmetic dentistry. Responsibilities: • Conduct initial screenings for patients to understand their oral health history • Look for signs of gum disease, infections, or cavities to ensure issues are caught early and can be treated • Assist dentists with determining the best treatment plan for all kinds of dental diseases • Put patients at ease by talking with them before, during, and after the appointment • Create dental impressions of patients’ teeth so veneers, mouthguards, etc. can be made correctly • Take x-ray images of the patients’ teeth to help dentists identify any oral health issues like cavities • Keep detailed records of each patient’s visit and update their health history • Must feel comfortable educating patients on needed treatment and helping them move forward Qualifications: • Able to stand up for long periods of time to administer dental exams and procedures • Valid CPR certification • Superb customer service and communication skills • Associate’s degree and certification in dental hygiene program required, higher levels of education are highly valued • I understand that if I do not have a Texas State License to practice dental hygiene I cannot be considered and will not apply. Compensation: $42 - 46 hour
