    Position Description:

    Employer Services Assurance Corporation (ESAC) is looking for a Regulatory Compliance Paralegal to join our team. We are celebrating our 30th year as the accreditation and financial assurance organization for the Professional Employer Organization (PEO) industry.

    The Regulatory Compliance Paralegal will use their legal writing, research, communication, and technical skills to conduct the ongoing research required to keep ESAC’s regulatory compliance database and tools up to date and support ESAC’s Compliance Attorney with user inquiries. Self-motivation, a strong work ethic, initiative to learn, and time management skills are paramount.

    Employment Prerequisites:

    · Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal certificate (or equivalent legal writing and research abilities);

    · Legal research or regulatory compliance experience, including the ability to track and update statutory changes as well as properly cite legal resources such as statutes, rules, and case law;

    · Verbal and written communication skills;

    · Proficiency in technology including Microsoft Office and Adobe; and

    · Ability to navigate agency websites and communicate effectively with regulators regarding requirements.

    Compensation and Benefits:

    · $50k annual salary with annual performance reviews;

    · Group medical, dental, and vision coverage for employee. Coverage eligibility begins the first of the month following the first 60 days of employment;

    · Participation in a 401(k) plan, including employer contribution on a fully vested basis. This benefit begins the first day of the calendar quarter following 6 months of employment;

    · 13 paid holidays and personal time off (PTO) which is earned at a rate of 8 hours per month, increasing by 2 hours per month based on tenure. Up to 80 unused PTO hours may be carried over to the following year (increasing by 20 hours annually based on tenure); and

    · Opportunity to work remotely after in-person training period in the Little Rock, AR office. Set office hours and a distraction-free environment are required for remote work.
