Occupational Therapy/Hand Therapy Aide Opportunity Available-Part time

Matrix Physical Therapy and Wellness is a new state of the art facility in the heart of Santa Monica. We are a physical therapist-owned clinic that is utilizing a multi-disciplinarian approach to healing. We have a team of 3 hand therapists and we are looking for an aide to work directly with them. We are seeking a motivated, friendly, and hard-working team player who excels at multi-tasking and patient care to join our team. Prior experience is not mandatory, but a basic knowledge in human anatomy and exercise is a plus. This position will require you to be available Monday through Friday approximately 30-35 hours/week. Please don't apply if you are unable to work these days. This is an excellent opportunity for somebody who is wanting to apply to OT or PT school to get direct patient care experience. Pay rate is dependent on prior experience. As a occupational therapy aide in our clinic, your duties will include but are not limited to:

Working directly with patients with their exercises and applying occupational therapy modalities under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.

Keeping accurate computer records and bookkeeping.

Verifying Insurance Eligibility.

Cleaning, set up, and maintaining hand therapy equipment.

Answering phones and scheduling patient appointments when necessary.
