    Position Summary:

    Responsible for overseeing clinical practices and procedures within our healthcare organization. Duties include setting budgets, ensuring facility adheres to healthcare laws and regulations, interview and select qualified candidates, training and development staff, creating and monitoring effective Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) for departments staff, creating and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and processes for department, and implementing new methods to increase efficiency and patient experiences within our facility. Responsible for organizations Healthcare Compliance and Credentialing.

    Duties and responsibilities:

    Evaluate budget and review financials with Finance to create reports and provide cost saving recommendations

    Schedule employees based on patient needs

    Oversee the organization of all patient records

    Stay up to date on healthcare laws and regulations

    Offer recommendations to decision-makers on ways to improve the efficiency of the office

    Responsible for healthcare compliance and healthcare staff credentialing

    Liaison between medical staff and management

    Manage revenue saving / increase projects as deemed essential to growth and development of the organization

    Perform risk assessments in department to ensure staff and patient well-being and safety are secured

    In collaboration with Human Resources, screen, interview, and select qualified candidates for open positions within the department

    Responsible for coaching, mentoring, and development of their staff to increase their skillsets and competencies for increased value-add to the organization

    Develop and monitor essential Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) for department staff

    Conduct annual reviews of staff and making wage/salary increase recommendations based on KPI's, Management Improvement Projects (MIP's), and other non-bias markers (attendance, safety, behavior, teamwork, etc.)

    Develop and implement effective policies for all clinic related operational procedures and processes

    Address patient and department staff concerns in a timely, professional, and ethical manner

    Review departments Job Descriptions annually for up-to-date accuracy

    Review all office contracting, including professional staff, insurance/reimbursement contracts

    Assess practice management computer systems, review new software and hardware products, and develop training schedules for staff

    Monitor insurance company reimbursement, look for trends, and attend network meetings to stay up to date on policy changes

    Required knowledge, skills, and other abilities:

    BS degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or relevant field

    Proven work experience as a Clinic Administrator / Manager, Medical Office Manager, or similar role

    Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare industry

    Hands-on experience with Medical database systems and MS Excel

    Solid understanding of healthcare procedures and regulations

    Basic accounting skills

    Familiarity with medical transcription

    Excellent organizational and time management skills

    Ability to supervise and train team members

    Solution based problem-solving approach

    Servant leadership

    Knowledge of medical compliance and credentialing

    Ability to delegate tasks effectively and redirect as needed to ensure overall success of departments employees and projects
