    Hollymead Veterinary Hospital (formerly VETSS) in Charlottesville, Virginia is seeking a compassionate Relief Veterinarian to join our practice! This relief position is an ideal opportunity for an experienced doctor who seeks the flexibility, balance, and earning potential of relief work at a well-established hospital.

    Only 20 minutes to the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains and Shenandoah Valley and driving distance to DC, Richmond and Virginia Beach.

    Founded in 1989, our 5600 square foot practice is beautiful, modern and spacious. We are equipped with 4 exam rooms, modern equipment including a new dental suite, new ultrasound unit, cautery, digital x-ray, U/S machine, in-house laboratory and more to provide you with the tools needed to provide excellent patient care and client service. We believe in compassionate care, superior client service and professional development of our team.

    • 7 driven and skilled Licensed Veterinary Technicians with additional assistants currently pursuing licensure

    Who we are looking for:

    • Relief Veterinarian - Variety of shifts available 

    • VETSS is seeking relief shift coverage on 12/24, 12/25, and 12/27, with a $500 holiday bonus per shift in addition to the regular hourly rate. Flexible hours are available on these dates.

    • Collaborative veterinarian who keeps up to date on new developments in veterinary medicine

    Qualifications:

    • Doctor of Veterinary degree, or equivalent, from an AVMA accredited university

    • Current DEA License or obtained upon hire

    • Active Veterinary State License upon hire

    • Ability to provide Certification of Insurance
