    Job Title: Relocation and Estate Sale Team Member Company: Caring Transitions of Ventura County Location: Various locations around Ventura County, CA Employment Type: Part-Time, non-exempt, 20-30 hours per week

    Pay Rate: $18-$20 per hour

    Position Summary: We are seeking kind, compassionate, and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Relocation and Estate Sale Team Members. In this role, you will assist with every aspect of senior transitions, including packing, resettling in new homes, estate sale preparation, and online auction lot creation. Our ideal candidate enjoys working within a team, has a passion for helping seniors, and can adapt to various tasks while providing exceptional service to our clients.

    Essential Job Functions: Packing & Relocation Support:

    o Carefully and efficiently pack household items to assist seniors in downsizing or relocating.

    o Help clients resettle by unpacking and organizing items in their new home.

    Sorting & Organizing:

    o Assist in sorting and organizing personal belongings for estate sales, donations, or family distribution.

    o Work with families and seniors to identify items of importance and sentimental value.

    Estate Sale Set-Up:

    o Prepare homes for estate sales by organizing and staging items.

    o Accurately price items for sale, ensuring fair market value.

    Online Auction Preparation:

    o Create auction lots for our online auction platform by photographing and cataloging items.

    o Write clear and accurate descriptions of items for online auctions.

    General Support:

    o Assist with moving and transporting items as needed.

    o Provide kind and supportive customer service to seniors and their families throughout the transition process.

    Required Skills and Experience:

    o Experience working with seniors or in downsizing, estate sales, or relocation services preferred.

    o Customer service or caregiving background is a plus.

    o Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

    o Compassionate and patient, especially when working with seniors.

    o Ability to lift and move items as needed (up to 20 lbs).

    o Must be flexible and adaptable to changing tasks and environments.

    o A team player who works well with others and has excellent communication skills.

    Other Requirements:

    o Must have reliable transportation.

    o Willingness to work flexible hours, including some weekends and evenings.
