    Based here in Rochester, our company has been a leading producer of Carbon and Graphite solutions for various manufacturing processes for more than 50 years. We pride ourselves on being a family-owned business where we take care of our employees!

    We are in need of a skilled Quality Inspector to join our team!

    Shift: 2nd, 3pm to 11:30pm

    Pay: $40 to $52k/year

    Summary:

    • Excellent use of standard measurement equipment (i.e. micrometers, verniers, etc.)
    • Excellent Blue print reading skills
    • Experience and good skills on comparator
    • Good math and trigonometry skills
    • Good communication skills and ability to work closely with others
    • Ability/Availability to work overtime and weekends when required by customer demands

    Responsibilities:

    • Review proposals (i.e. prints) to insure a proper quality plan is feasible with the given job
    • Institute quality plan for WIP jobs.
    • Actively seek out WIP jobs and complete First-Off inspections to assist in the timely delivery of customer products.
    • Inspect incoming materials (tools, material, customer returns, etc.)
    • Complete and file all applicable Inspection/Quality paperwork
    • Interface with customers for inspection techniques, quality issues, and reporting when necessary.
    • Program and operate CMM.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum of High School Diploma or Equivalent
    • 5+ Years Quality Control Experience
    • Experience and good skills with windows applications (i.e. MSWord, MSExcel, etc.)
    • Experience and good skills with SPC, ISO9002, and other quality standards/techniques.
    • Some knowledge of tool calibration standards and techniques.
