The Project Manager oversees the production of residential restoration projects through completion. The Project Manager will coordinate production efforts with internal teams and external partners and will complete both hands-on and administrative duties overseeing multiple projects at once. Each day will bring different challenges and tasks in keeping track of schedules, contract terms and budgets. The position will offer the opportunity to be a part of one of the finest restoration teams in the area as well as financial stability and professional growth.
You need to be strong and stress-resilient to be able to handle the pressure of running multiple projects with various deadlines and tight budget constraints. Success lies in being extremely organized and able to adjust to change.
We are looking for local candidates who can commute to Fairfax County on a daily basis.
Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee multiple small to medium-sized residential construction projects from conception to completion
Act as a point of contact for customers, internal team and insurance adjusters
Monitor project budgets, timelines, and explore options to ensure timely project delivery
Conduct meetings with subcontractors to determine timeline, permits needed and set expectations
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with building codes and safety regulations
Review project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports
Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction, proactively implementing solutions to keep projects on track
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in residential construction project management
Proven track record of successfully managing residential construction projects from job start to completion
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and best practices specific to remodeling and home building
Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Proficiency in project management software and tools
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites on regular basis
