Faculty are at the core of our student and institutional success. As Unitek Learning continues to grow its programs, faculty support and coaching will be a critical component of ensuring our students have an incredible learning experience. The Faculty Coach will play a pivotal role in supporting faculty members by reviewing courses, providing constructive feedback, and ensuring the overall quality of the academic programs. This position requires strong communication skills, a deep understanding of pedagogy and instructional design principles, and the ability to collaborate effectively with faculty and academic leadership.
- Use faculty performance data to identify opportunities for coaching/training.
- Evaluate faculty performance regularly, provide detailed notes, and document coaching efforts and outcomes.
- Analyze documentation and identify trends to inform larger education initiatives.
- Elevate concerns and follow-up with faculty and coaches to ensure faculty expectations are being met and students are being supported.
- Work with scheduling, programmatic training, faculty development, academic leadership, and other stakeholders regularly to ensure continuous improvement in the learning experience for students.
- Review online classrooms to ensure all expectations are being met.
- Identify faculty that are excelling and recognize those areas.
- Promote community amongst faculty.
- Develop rapport with faculty through regular engagement efforts and teambuilding.
- Provide detailed and constructive feedback to faculty members on their participation and the quality of their contributions to the student learning experience (announcements, discussion forums, feedback, outreach, etc.).
- Coach faculty members on best practices that support student success, including active learning strategies, engagement techniques, and student support initiatives.
- Collaborate with faculty members to address their feedback and recommendations and elevate to appropriate stakeholders in an effort of continuous improvement.
- Serve as a resource and mentor to faculty members, offering guidance and support with instructional resources, technology and engagement strategies, and teaching and student success efforts.
- Identify and escalate concerns regarding course quality, instructional effectiveness, or adherence to academic standards to academic leadership.
- Collaborate with academic leadership to develop and implement strategies for enhancing the overall quality of academic programs.
- Stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in higher education pedagogy and andragogy.
- Assist in the design and delivery of faculty workshops, training sessions, and resources.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of course reviews, feedback, and recommendations.

Salary starting at $65k DOE
