Remote PT Instructional Designer - Higher Ed Exp Required
Job Description
Design and develop instructional materials to support online, hybrid, and face-to-face delivery of healthcare courses in a higher education setting. Implement program and course offerings and evaluate their effectiveness. Make suggestions for improvements based on data and analysis.
Business needs may require this position to be a hybrid modality in the future.
The hourly pay range for this position is $30 (minimum), $32.50 (midpoint), and $35 (maximum).*

Qualifications
Master’s degree and/or certificate in instructional design, instructional technology, or a related field of study.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience designing and delivering courses for higher education required.
Experience in instructional design and with instructional technology.
Experience with multimedia authoring programs.
Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts, and video scripts.
Knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models; lesson and curriculum planning skills.
Knowledge of course development software and working experience with at least one Learning Management System.
Maintain confidentiality of information processed or prepared.
Proven project management skills.
Exceptional interpersonal and decision-making skills required.
Maintain project documentation and course folders.
Ability to easily adapt to and learn new technologies.
Ability to provide excellent customer service.
Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
Four (4) or more years applying learning theory and andragogy to develop online courses.
Experience with Canvas Learning Management System.
Experience in higher education administration.
Experience using and/or supporting accessible technologies; knowledge of online learning regulatory and compliance agency requirements including UDL, ADA, Section 508 compliance, copyright, FERPA, and other applicable laws, rules, and regulations related to online learning.
