Bayscapes Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Remote Payroll Assistant to assist with processing payroll for our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate employee records, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing, and handling payroll-related inquiries. The ideal candidate will have experience with payroll software, strong organizational skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. This is a remote position, offering flexibility to work from home.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with processing employee payroll and maintaining payroll records.
- Respond to payroll-related inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and company policies.
- Update employee information in payroll software as needed.
- Generate and review payroll reports for accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in payroll processing or a similar administrative role.
- Familiarity with payroll software (e.g., ADP, QuickBooks, or similar).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance standards.
- High school diploma required; an associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet software.
