  • Responsibilities

    This position will be responsible for the extraction, operation, and upkeep of the RNG processing plant that will not only produce fuel for Kimble’s waste and recycling fleet but help fuel many other needs in and around the area.

    Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Saturday: 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am.

    Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Self-driven and self-motivated
    • Ability to apply common sense understanding to follow detailed instructions
    • Accomplished user of common PC software, including MS-Word, MS-Excel
    • Ability to identify and deal with problems involving a variety of variables in random situations, including problem solving
    • Mechanical knowledge of equipment assembly, troubleshooting, repair, and installation
    • Ability and willingness to work outdoors up to 75% of each workday
    • Ability to operate ATV safely and follow site specific protocols
    • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
    • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle record check
    • Experience in chemical plant operations, industrial gas operations, and/or power plant operations is a plus

    Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Install, repair, service, and maintain valves, pipe, and pipeline appurtenances, generators, air compressors, pumps, and gas compressors
    • Responsible for the general upkeep and cleanliness of the plant
    • Perform inspections and preventative maintenance on compression station engines and equipment
    • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems in accordance with applicable procedures and/or manuals to determine causes of component failure and take appropriate action to correct deficiencies
    • Complete all applicable documentation and record keeping
    • Communicate daily with all levels of management
    • Regularly bend, stoop, move from ground level to higher levels, raise/lift from ground level a load of up to 50 lbs., manually transport a load up to 75 lbs.
    • Operate and maintain various equipment (such as UTV, ATV, Forklift, skid steer, snowplow, etc.)
    • Follow safety program in field and encourage safety of all employees by adherence to OSHA, DOT, and EPA regulations
    • All other duties as assigned by management

    Schedule: 12 hour shift | Day shift | Night shift | Weekends as needed
