We are a local general contractor that performs remodels and tenant improvements on our growing portfolio of multi-family apartment communities. We’re looking for team members with a variety of skill sets to join our crew on our apartment renovation projects in the Tacoma area. The ideal candidates will have experience performing all aspects of renovation work: demolition, drywall, paint, carpentry, flooring, cabinet installation, plumbing, electrical, fixture installation, and interior punch/finish work. We are also looking for candidates who have a specific skill set that will set them apart. This would include having the ability to successfully accomplish any of the tasks mentioned above and also having the mastery and expertise to lead and/or teach others from their knowledge in their specific skill set(s). We are nothing without our team! Responsibilities: • Take ownership of assigned tasks – demo to construction, clean, and everything in between • Take ownership of overall project success • Prepare for and complete tasks in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring project timelines are maintained • Collaborate with your team, to maximize the contributions of each team member in close work environments • Field Quality Control - Take responsibility for the quality of your work and ensure desired delivery of the product • Identify cost/time-saving renovation opportunities • Adhere to company safety rules and procedures • Maintain a clean and professional project site • Communicate clearly and effectively with coworkers and other construction professionals Qualifications: • Comprehensive knowledge of residential construction and renovations • A wide range of construction techniques to cover all renovation-related work • Desire to learn from and increase proficiency in a teamwork environment • Expert level of one or more construction abilities, along with the capability to teach others from these abilities • Willingness to set and achieve challenging objectives • Exceptional eye for detail and deadlines • Ability to communicate clearly • Positive approach and strong personal traits • Determination to make sure the job is done correctly • Preparedness to travel to job sites in the Tacoma area Compensation: $18 - $24 hourly
