Rental Operations Manager - Your Job Duties:
You'll lead and empower Branch Managers across multiple rental store locations, driving performance and ensuring operational excellence.
Leadership & Strategy and Team Management:
- Responsible for the direct supervision and professional growth of 3 Branch Managers, 4 locations and the operational and sales success of 25+ employees located in Stockton, Merced, Turlock, and Salida
- Execute strategic business plans to achieve growth and profitability targets. Current revenues are $30MM and growing
- Work with Branch Managers to develop and implement sales strategies tailored to each market
- Assist in annual fleet planning and rental barometer reporting
- Develop and maintain comprehensive training programs for all rental employees
- Foster collaboration between rental and sales teams to drive efficiency and revenues
Operational Efficiency & Compliance:
- Assist the Vice President with the development and execution of a comprehensive business plan including strategies for revenue and profitability goals
- Implement and maintain standardized operational procedures
- Manage inventory and ensure accurate reconciliation processes
- Ensure adherence to safety procedures and compliance standards
Rental Operations Manager - Required Skills, Experience & Fit with Our Team:
You have:
- Proven experience in rental operations management, ideally in heavy equipment (water trucks, construction equipment, truck fleet)
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions around growth and expanding footprint
- A customer-focused mindset and a commitment to providing exceptional service
- Experience with heavy equipment and rental systems (desired not required)
- Experience developing and implementing training programs (desired not required)
Rental Operations Manager - For You:
This role is based in Stockton and requires weekly travel to multiple rental locations
- Your base salary will be between $100,000 - $130,000 + an annual incentive bonus plan (up to 40% of your base)
- You will be provided with a company truck for work use and branch travel
