    SPIN Global is a Maryland-based public benefit corporation that exists to disrupt disasters from neighborhoods to nations. We are seeking qualified applicants to build a deployment-ready cadre, prepared to support response operations as opportunities arise. Applicants must possess a FEMA Entry on Duty (EOD) clearance.

    ‬‬‬ Responsibilities

    • Create, analyze, and present detailed reports to support disaster recovery operations.
    • Develop communication materials that translate complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect and synthesize data.
    • Identify and highlight trends, challenges, and opportunities within disaster fieldwork.
    • Develop and maintain strong communication channels to ensure accurate and timely dissemination of critical information.
    • Support field teams with timely and relevant reporting tools and insights.

    Requirements

    • Education & Experience:
      • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience in disaster fieldwork or a related field; or
      • Graduate-level degree or professional registration with 2 years of experience in disaster fieldwork or a related field; or
      • 10 years of experience in disaster fieldwork or a related field.
    • Strong ability to communicate complex ideas in clear, actionable terms.
    • Proficiency in reporting tools and techniques.
    • Experience in stakeholder engagement and effective information delivery.
    • Familiarity with FEMA training and certifications, including:
      • IS-1000: Public Assistance Program and Eligibility
      • IS-1001: The Public Assistance Delivery Model Orientation
      • IS-1002: FEMA Grants Portal - Transparency at Every Step
      • IS-1004: The FEMA Site Inspection Process
      • IS-1018: Determination Memorandums and Appeals.
    • Work onsite in North Carolina
    • Initial deployments are expected to be 12 months
    • EOD Required
