Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Representative, Welcome Center - Garden City - Long Island.
In this role, the successful Welcome Center Representative will be responsible for facilitating classes on health and wellness, supporting department projects, assisting with financial and tax documentation and managing essential administrative tasks. This full time position is ideal for a candidate with strong organizational skills, an interest in health education and a keen eye for detail. This role requires someone proactive with a talent for project management and the ability to work independently.
Job Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a High school diploma or equivalent. 1 year previous experience in a health education ,customer service or administrative role with a focus on project management. Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, Outlook and comfortable learning new software applications. Demonstrated ability to manage projects including planning execution and follow up. Friendly approachable and professional demeanor with a strong commitment to customer service. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional education or certifications in health education, customer service project management or related fields is a plus.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $45,860.07 - $70,553.95 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
