The Resale Revolution Starts With You!
Every great team is led by inspired and passionate leaders. As the store’s Buying Manager, you will oversee store buying and bring our brand promise to life: to offer a fun, fashion-centered, and affordable selling and shopping experience to our communities. Buying Managers are committed to helping drive Crossroads' business by training and developing a team of fashion experts that know what our customers want to shop for. The Buying Manager helps create an inclusive environment where all feel welcome to enjoy a second-hand shopping and selling experience.
What You’ll Do:
When you join Crossroads, you become part of the sustainable fashion movement, helping to shape the future of the industry. But the impact goes beyond the planet—you’ll be investing in your own growth, too. Inside the store, you’ll gain hands-on experience running a secondhand retail business, developing an entrepreneurial mindset as you lead a buying team in merchandise selection, pricing, and customer service. You’ll set holistic goals with the Store Manager that drive both financial success and a thriving store culture. With a focus on team development and continuous feedback, you’ll create an environment where everyone grows together.
Outside the store, you’ll establish yourself as a community business leader by actively building relationships and growing your network. You’ll develop a loyal base of regular sellers by consistently sourcing great merchandise and keeping your buying counter thriving. By combining your fashion expertise with standout customer service, you’ll attract high-end clients and introduce a concierge experience tailored to the Central Coast. You’ll also take the lead in planning dynamic selling events that celebrate current sellers and engage new ones, making your store a local destination.

About Crossroads:
One of the first companies to pioneer secondhand clothing as an alternative to traditional retail, Crossroads Trading has been buying, selling, and consigning name brand and designer clothing in a friendly, fun, and fashionable atmosphere since 1991.
Since opening the doors of its first location in the heart of San Francisco’s Fillmore District, Crossroads has expanded over time to 39 retail locations spanning Northern and Southern California, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, Denver, New York, Houston, and Dallas. And in recent years, we have added Sell-By-Mail and Concierge programs to provide convenient new ways for fashionable and eco-conscious customers to sell their gently used clothing.
Crossroads has been featured in Harper’s Bazaar, Teen Vogue, and LA Mag, and is widely recognized as an industry leader in the ‘resale revolution.’
If you like sustainability, fashion, and working in a fun, positive environment, you’ll enjoy a career with us!
