Research Analyst (Part-Time) The NALP Foundation seeks a detailed-oriented part-time Research Analyst, with 1-2 years of proven research and data analytics experience, to provide support for Foundation research projects. In this critical role, you will be responsible for survey programming, data compilation, coding, data analysis, data visualization and reporting. Note: This is a part-time position (25-35 hours per week) and thus not benefits-eligible, with the opportunity for expansion, contingent on performance and the organization’s needs and finances. Responsibilities: • Program and administer web-based surveys using tools such as SurveyMonkey or similar platforms • Distribute surveys, manage responses, and address research-related inquiries • Deliver reminder messaging and conduct follow up to optimize survey response rates • Conduct data quality checks and cleaning of survey submissions • Perform data analysis using SPSS, including data table creation • Develop individual law firm and law-school specific reports, based on survey results • Prepare tables, graphs and charts for research publications, PowerPoint presentations and articles • Support list management and maintenance • Provide additional technical and administrative support as needed • Review and finalize publications and presentations • Assist with other Foundation work as needed Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a related field • 1-2 years of related work experience • Experience with SPSS statistical programming and data analysis software is required • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel and PowerPointAptitude for working with numbers and datasets • Attention to detail, with a keen eye for accuracyExcellent organizational skills, with the ability to be flexible and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines • Ability to management multiple projects simultaneously • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills • Ability to ensure confidentiality and security of all collected data • Creativity, and interest in developing new skills • Unequivocal commitment to the highest standards of personal and business ethics and conduct • Familiarity with the legal industry is a plus
