As a Reservations Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring guests have a 5-star stay. Based out of our modern and completely updated Scottsdale office near Via Ventura and the 101, you'll virtually manage communications for our properties. Responsibilities: • Acting as a concierge to guests and painting a picture of the stay by discussing the properties, what amenities are offered, nearby restaurants, and local attractions. • Navigating guests' technical difficulties they may experience as they book a stay - remaining calm, patient, and kind to help put guests at ease about their stay. • Juggling multiple guests' needs and finding ways to make the available properties work for groups of various sizes and with a wide variety of needs. • Ensuring that guests' requests are met in a timely manner - including providing guests with invoices, making sure a purchased upgrade arrives on the property, delivering check-in codes on time, and elevating the overall guest experience. • Working within the online booking platform (Cloudbeds) to ensure schedules are maintained, and using the text platform Akia to communicate with guests via text. • Helping turnaround guest experiences that may have started out on the wrong foot in order to win them over to a delightful experience. • Working side-by-side with the team to support guests' needs and providing a feedback loop of communication that ensures the service we provide to guests remains excellent. • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications: • Minimum of 2 years of experience in hospitality or customer service. • Some College/College Degree. • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to turn upset guests into loyal customers. • Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team. • Critical thinking and creative problem-solving abilities. • Keen attention to detail. • Resourceful in finding solutions. Compensation: $20 - $25 hourly plus bonus
