Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care to residents, including assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper techniques and equipment to ensure safety.
- Monitor residents' vital signs and report any changes in health or behavior to the nursing staff.
- Aid residents in dining experiences, including serving meals and providing assistance with eating as necessary.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
- Engage residents in recreational and social activities to promote well-being and community involvement.
- Document care provided and maintain accurate records in compliance with facility policies and regulations.
- Support residents in following care plans and achieving their individual goals.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to provide excellent care and support.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or HHA (Home Health Aide) preferred.
- Previous experience in a caregiving role, preferably in a residential care or long-term care setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact compassionately with residents and families.
- Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals.
- Basic knowledge of medication management, personal care techniques, and safety protocols.
- Physical ability to perform essential functions of the job, including lifting and assisting residents.
- Current CPR and first aid certification preferred.
- Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening.
