Position Title: Resident Campus: All
Reports To: Central Leadership Institute Director Status: Part-time Volunteer (15 - 20 hours)
Position Summary:
Each CLI Resident is placed within a ministry area to gain hands-on ministry experience for a 1-year term starting on
September 3rd, 2025. The purpose of this position is to allow developing leaders to pursue ministry while gaining the education and experience required for commissioning and ordination.
Possible Ministry areas are: Kids, Worship, and Campus Team. Each ministry area may have requirements that are not listed in this job description.
This position is connected to the faith and ministry of the church and moves forward the mission and vision of Central Christian Church.
Responsibilities:
Be onsite for CLI class time on the Mesa or Gilbert campus.
Has a baseline understanding of the Christian faith and be in alignment with Central Christian Church.
Follow agreed upon schedule with supervisors – this will vary depending on department/ministry needs.
Attend monthly 1:1’s with ministry leads and mentors.
Complete all tasks and duties assigned by your ministry lead.
Complete all weekly reports, book reviews, and remain on track for all assignments as directed by CLI director.
Bring your best, be coachable, and be ready to dive in!
Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
Basic skills utilizing laptops, Microsoft office products, and email.
Possess solid time management skills.
Experience in leading or supporting events, event planning, and project management.
Competencies:
Proficient communication skills.
Inter-departmental collaboration and works well with others.
Foundational understanding of your faith and how to communicate that with others.
Role model in personal life:
Must align with the mission, vision, and values of Central Christian Church and be committed to doing Central no harm.
Growing in your personal relationship with Christ, including participation in the Rooted discipleship program.
Develop personal evangelism opportunities within and outside the Church.
Model biblical integrity in all things:
Adhere to and encompass the qualities and characteristics required of Central Christian Church employees, defined by the Staff Handbook.
Financially support the vision of Central Christian Church by faithfully giving at least 10% of gross income.

Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk sit; use hands to finger handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to twenty-five pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
