    Supervision is provided at no cost to Residents in Counseling.

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    JOB TITLE: Clinician

    IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Clinical Director

    DESCRIPTION:

    The Clinician will be responsible for assisting the LPC in the operation of IIH, Crisis, and Outpatient therapy programs. The Clinician will conduct clinical assessments of prospective clients under the supervision of the LPC. The Clinician will conduct intake proceedings of new clients. The incumbent must be a Resident in Counseling with the Virginia’s Department of Health Professions, Board of Counseling.

    Duties include but are not limited to:

    1. Assist with the implementation of daily program structure.

    2. Conduct assessments and provide diagnoses utilizing the DSM under the supervision of the LPC.

    3. Provide treatment of depression, anxiety, trauma related concerns and other assessed areas to children and adults under the supervision of the LPC

    4. Provide individual, family, and group counseling services to children and adults under the supervision of the LPC

    5. Provide counseling and crisis intervention to clients in IIH and Crisis Stabilization Services.

    6. Participate in Assessment, Treatment, and Discharge of cases.

    7. Maintain documentation.

    8. Perform administrative duties as assigned.

    9. Other duties as assigned.

    10. Oversee the Clinical work and Clinical supervision of QMHP-T’s

    Minimum Qualifications:

    A Master’s degree in the field of human services and two years of successful work experience in the field of institutional management, social work, education or other allied discipline or a graduate degree in a profession related to childcare and development. Must be eligible to register or be a registered Resident with the Virginia Board of Counseling.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $45,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
