Job Summary: Artisan Systems is an Audio Video company, and we currently have a position in residential that will start your AV career growth path. The position is for an AV technician, this person will be assisting a Lead technician in installation and setup of Audio-Visual systems on residential project sites. The ideal candidate will have at least a minimal knowledge of A/V and a willingness to learn. Duties include hanging TVs, installing speakers, terminating cables, pre-wiring homes, and building racks.

Key Job Responsibilities:

Equipment installation

Cable routing, pre-wire and retro-wire standards and practices

Reading line drawings

Follow detailed instructions from Lead and/or Project Manager

Observing and practicing all safety procedures.

Assists with daily procedures and paperwork.

Schedule:

Monday thru Friday

8 or 10 hour shifts

Qualifications:

Audio Visual knowledge or Cabling: 1 year

High School education or equivalent

Reliable transportation

Clean driving record & background check

Minimum Job Requirements:

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Highly detailed, organized, and multitask driven

Must be able to be on a ladder for extended period of time

Ability to use hand and power tools.

Willingness to learn
