Summary of Responsibilities

The Production Manager oversees remodeling projects from contract to completion. Key duties include pre-construction planning, scheduling, material ordering, site supervision, team management, client and trade relations, and handling production paperwork. This position requires a strategic leader skilled in organization, collaboration, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency

Essential Functions

• Participates in the design phase to ensure construction details are not overlooked, able to make on-the-fly changes to keep the project moving
• Oversees solutions for issues during production beyond Lead Carpenters' capabilities
• Provides construction insight and knowledge to field staff
• Orders all special-order items, including cabinetry, doors, and windows; ensures accuracy before ordering (requires unrelenting attention to detail)
• Develops and maintains relationships with Trade Partners, employees, and clients,

  including preemptive communication and availability for quick responses some nights and weekends

• Supervises warranty items
• Organizes and oversees Trade Partner and Lead Carpenter site meetings during the design phase; prescribes and oversees the scope of work needed for each
• Performs takeoffs and orders for larger scope projects (framing, all exteriors, all interiors, doors, windows)
• Organizes and oversees carpenter growth process and field staff evaluations
• Maintains general inventory regarding staging and equipment in storage units; manages maintenance and condition of staging equipment

Education, Experience, and Skills Required

• 5+ years of construction project management
• 10 years industry experience
• Strong customer service background
• Proficient in construction management software
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• CSL

Compensation

• $100,000-$125,000 a year depending on experience
