    We build high end, custom, innovative homes and are expanding our team. We are a design/build firm so you’ll have the opportunity to be involved in the entire process from through design through close out and will have an opportunity for advancement if you want.

    We work from Malibu to Santa Barbara but most of our work is focused in Ventura County and Ojai where we prefabricate a lot of what we build.

    We are looking for a candidate with deep knowledge of residential construction and estimating who wants to join a dynamic team, expand their skillset, and help us innovate on every level of construction.

    The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, production-oriented individual with a passion for organization and client satisfaction. The ability to manage multiple tasks, communicate effectively with clients, trade contractors and employees is a must. Delivering budgets on time is paramount to this position. Working closely with the design and construction teams, the Estimator/Salesperson will perform the following tasks:

    Assemble scopes of work, develop estimates and proposals

    Collaborate with clients, company principals and department leads

    Assist in procuring materials, vendors and subcontractors as necessary for each project. Identify gaps in decision making and bring solutions/recommendations to the deciding parties.

    Create project schedules

    Provide technical input as needed

    Seek opportunities to improve our projects through alternative products and vendor sources

    Ensure client satisfaction and maintain quality relationships with project partners

    Requirements:

    1-3 years of construction management experience and estimating

    2 or four year degree in construction management preferred

    Proven ability to understand scopes of work and accurately estimate projects

    Ability to read and understand Architectural plan sets

    Technical understanding of residential and construction codes and best practices

    Ability to gather information, prepare reports and communicate effectively

    Experience with complex and high end projects

    Demonstrable experience and passion for client satisfaction

    Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

    Must successfully pass a background check. The position is full time. Starting salary is $95,000-115,000 annually DOE with medical, 401k plan, and paid time off.
