Turnkey is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Residential Maintenance Inspector to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of property maintenance and a passion for ensuring a well-maintained property for our owners and an excellent living environment for our tenants. Responsibilities: • Read, understand spreadsheets and meet scheduled appointments for annual inspections of properties • Communicate with residents in a professional manner • Using maps/GPS and route-maximizing software to drive to several properties in the vicinity • Thoroughly inspecting homes for undetected and unreported maintenance issues • Resolving any confrontation with tact and respect, always representing the company’s values • Meticulous notes/ logging for future review by managers and maintenance personnel • Understanding the Property Management process and being able to convey helpful information to both customers and office staff • Elevating problems to the appropriate offices, with complete and accurate information, so any issue can be resolved Qualifications: • Property management experience is preferred. • Experience in Customer Service and ability to remain calm under pressure. • Knowledge of home maintenance and construction. • An eye for troubleshooting and detecting problems within a home. • Ability to communicate with tenants, understand their needs, and pass accurate information to the offices tasked with resolving any issues. • Great driving record. • Knowledge and experience in Word, Excel, Office, etc. is a MUST. • Home Inspector Certification preferred This job description in no way implies that these are the only duties to be performed.
