What You’ll Do:
- Conduct thorough fire safety and periodic maintenance inspections in assigned areas.
- Ensure smoke detectors are functional, clean, and correctly positioned.
- Install essential safety products like smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, and residential fire suppression systems.
- Educate tenants on fire safety and the proper use of safety products.
- Document your findings with detailed electronic reports and pictures.
- Maintain accurate daily inventory counts of all products on your work truck.
What We’re Looking For:
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A team player with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Basic knowledge of residential fire safety.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
- Proficient with mobile tools and applications.
- Valid driver’s license with a clear driving record.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
- Use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
- Ability to bend, squat, crawl, climb, and reach.
- Capability to lift, carry, push, or pull weights up to 75 pounds.
Experience:
- Basic knowledge of power tools and usage.
- Experience using various types of ladders.
- Previous inspection experience is a plus but not required.
