Northeast Center for Youth & Families, Inc. (NCYF) is seeking a Residential Program Director for our latency age group home.
The ideal Residential Program Director is responsible for the overall operation and delivery of clinical, residential, and medical services within the latency-age Therapeutic Group Home. The ideal Residential Program Director candidate will have broad knowledge of non-profit administration and child protective systems as well as knowledge of state regulations pertaining to restraints and holds. A successful Residential Program Director will take initiative, have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and is able to exercise good judgement.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (Master's degree preferred)
3 years of experience as an administrator in a residential setting required
Demonstrate a working knowledge of the principles of trauma informed care.
Adult & Child CPR/First Aid/AED certification preferred (we will train staff)
Must possess valid driving license
Reliable transportation required.
Approved CORI, DCF and driving background checks required.
Job Description:
The Residential Program Director develops and monitors all aspects of service delivery within the therapeutic group home
Residential Program Directors provide weekly supervision to the Residential Supervisors, facilitate staff meetings, and provide and monitor training and professional development of all staff in the therapeutic group home
The Residential Program Director develops, in conjunction with residential leadership and clinical staff, quality performance indicators and monitors such indicators with the goal of continually assessing the services offered; as well, the Residential Program Director develops and implements policies and procedure in conjunction with the VP of Residential Services
The Residential Program Director will continually monitor and ensure all licensing and regulatory requirements are met for the therapeutic group home
Residential Program Directors may be called on to approach dysregulated clients utilizing CPI techniques and have the ability to obtain and maintain required certifications and licenses, including but not limited to CPR, First Aid, AED, CPI, and MAP trainings
Residential Program Directors provide on-call coverage to the therapeutic group home in rotation
