    Summary of Responsibilities

    As a Residential Remodeling Sales Consultant, you’ll build relationships with potential clients, assess project fit, provide initial estimates, and guide them through the sales process. You will play a key role in ensuring a seamless client experience from initial inquiry to project handoff. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, as you’ll be the key point of contact for clients and the design team throughout the project development process.

    Essential Functions

    • Screen inquiries, schedule consultations, and manage client data in Active Campaign
    • Meet with clients to discuss project goals, budget, and scope
    • Create and present initial estimates, helping clients make informed decisions
    • Follow up consistently to move prospects through the sales process
    • Maintain organized project records, including notes, photos, and estimates
    • Work closely with the design and project teams to refine estimates
    • Ensure smooth project handoff to production team, approve specific orders, and maintain positive communication with clients
    • Participate in pre-construction meetings, assist with change orders, and communicate key details about job scope and client needs
    • Work closely with project managers, designers, and consultants, resolving issues and ensuring smooth project execution
    • Stay updated on industry trends and sales techniques
    • Participate in sales meetings, training, and strategy development

    Education, Experience, and Skills Required

    • 5+ years of B2C sales experience and proven success
    • 5+ years of residential remodeling design or sales experience
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Google Suite
    • Experience with Buildertrend and Chief Architect would be a plus
    • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills 
    • Ability to maintain a positive, client-focused attitude
    • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

    Compensation

    This is a sales position and pays a salary of $50,000 annually, plus commissions in addition to that amount. The average income for our sales staff ranges from $80,000 to $120,000 annually. Top performers can earn $150,000+ annually.
