    Summary of Responsibilities

    The Residential Sales Consultant plays a key role in driving company growth by blending creative design expertise with a strong sales approach. This position involves engaging with clients to understand their remodeling needs, developing personalized design solutions, and guiding them through the sales process. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and trusted advisor, capable of building lasting client relationships, collaborating with internal teams, and contributing to the company’s success through exceptional design and sales performance.

    Essential Functions

    • Drive Sales: Own the client journey from first meeting to signed contract. Listen deeply, build rapport, understand needs, and guide prospects toward solutions that fit their vision and budget.
    • Qualify Leads & Close Deals: Follow up on inbound leads via JobTread, identify qualified prospects, and close sales in a consultative and service-focused way.
    • Manage Client Relationships: Communicate with homeowners throughout the sales cycle, ensuring transparency, trust, and long-term satisfaction.
    • Collaborate with Internal Teams: Partner with estimators, project managers, and designers to ensure a smooth transition from sale to production.
    • Track Progress & Improve: Maintain accurate sales reports, track performance, and contribute ideas for improving our sales process and client experience.

    Education, Experience, and Skills Required

    • 3–5 years of sales experience in residential remodeling, construction, home services, or similar client-facing industries.
    • Familiarity with design-build or residential remodeling preferred; design software knowledge (AutoCAD, Chief Architect, SketchUp, Revit) is a bonus, but not required.
    • Strong communication and presentation skills—comfortable leading consultations and walking clients through detailed proposals.
    • Tech-savvy and experienced with CRM or construction project management software (JobTread experience is a plus).
    • Organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple clients and timelines

    Compensation

    • Compensation: Base salary of $55,000 per year + uncapped commission (earning potential of $100,000+, with no cap on commission).
