    Summary of Responsibilities

    The Residential Sales & Design Consultant plays a key role in driving company growth by blending creative design expertise with a strong sales approach. This position involves engaging with clients to understand their remodeling needs, developing personalized design solutions, and guiding them through the sales process. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and trusted advisor, capable of building lasting client relationships, collaborating with internal teams, and contributing to the company’s success through exceptional design and sales performance.

    Essential Functions

    • Client Engagement & Sales – Manage leads in JobTread, guide clients through the sales process, maintain relationships, and ensure satisfaction for repeat business and referrals.
    • Design & Visualization – Develop and present design concepts, create site plans and renderings in CAD software, and assist clients in making confident design decisions.
    • Collaboration & Project Handoff – Work with production and estimating teams to ensure accurate quotes and feasibility, preparing detailed handoff packages.
    • Sales Reporting & Process Improvement – Maintain accurate sales reports, analyze processes, and collaborate on market strategies for continuous improvement.
    • Professional Growth & Industry Knowledge – Stay updated on design trends, materials, and industry best practices while contributing to company growth and profitability.

    Education, Experience, and Skills Required

    • 3-5 years in residential construction, sales, and design, with a strong sales focus.
    • Proven ability to drive revenue and close deals.
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Chief Architect, SketchUp, or Revit (required). Experience with Job Tread or CRM software is a plus.
    • Strong client relations and communication skills.
    • Ability to manage projects and collaborate with production teams.
    • Self-starter with a business mindset and attention to detail.

    Compensation

    • Compensation: Base salary of $55,000 per year + uncapped commission (potential to earn up to $100,000+ annually).
