Job Title: HVAC Lead Technician

As a startup, we’re looking for a hands-on Lead Technician to join our team, help us scale, and establish our brand as a leader in the marketplace.

Position Overview:

We’re seeking a results-oriented Lead Technician who is looking for that next step in their career. This individual must be comfortable with selling, overseeing a team of other technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Installation & Maintenance -Install, repair and maintain residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps and ductwork. -Perform system startups and testing to ensure proper functionality

-Conduct routine preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment

2. Troubleshooting & Repairs

-Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in HVAC systems

-Perform necessary repairs, part replacements, and calibrations

-Ensure all work meets local building codes and manufacturer specifications

3. Leadership & Team Management & Sales -Promote a positive “can do” work culture

-Train, mentor and supervise junior techs and apprentices

-Assign tasks and oversee work quality to ensure efficiency and safety

-Provide technical guidance and support to team members

-Be comfortable selling while earning unlimited commissions

-Oversee pricing strategies and cost estimates for services and contracts

4. Customer Relations

-Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through online reviews

• Manage the work of junior techs to ensure jobs are being completed correctly

Requirements:

1. At least 7-10 years of HVAC experience

2. Strong leadership skills with experience managing and motivating teams

3. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities

4. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, operations, and industry best practices

5. Experience leading and managing a team

6. Drive business growth

7. Ability to handle customer relations

8. Proficiency in Service Titan is a plus
